The dog…. if it could be called as a dog, was a human… if it could be called as a human.
Indeed, the proportion among limbs, body and head suggested a dog.
With its metallic collar shining, it raised the head, standing hind legs firm.
The appearance reminded a great dog as a whole.
But details revealed that it was not.
Its hind legs, which were so thin and short as forelegs, no good for upright walking, were apparently degenerated human legs.Forelegs had paws with degenerated five fingers of human beings.
Its limbs, which were short enough to provide steadiness and nimbleness of four legged animals, were originally those of human beings.
With its thin body free of any flab, and abdomen extremely slimmed down, it had lightness of greyhound.
Its yellowish body was suntanned and had scarcely any hair besides on its head.
Its back had many scars, seemingly made by beasts, and welt made by whips.Those scars and welts told hard toil and discipline imposed by its owner eloquently.
