子どもたちに夢を贈りつづけてきたサンタさんでありますが、寄る年波には勝てず、赤鼻のルドルフくんが大活躍したかの「霧のクリスマスイブ」を最後に引退。サンタさんの橇を牽いてきた「空駆ける馴鹿団」も解散し、チームの９匹のトナカイさんたちはそれぞれの再就職先を探すことになりました。 　ルドルフ君は、サンタさんの愛人２８号、バービラ嬢に引き取られました。バービラ嬢のお仕事は、クリスマスの夜、よい大人たちに、彼らが喜ぶオモチャを配ることでしたとさ。

A Christmas Fantasy THE SEQUEL TO THE RUDOLPH STORY After Santa Claus retired, each member of his 'Flying Reindeer' Team had to look for his new job. Rudolph, the most famous reindeer in the world, became property of Barbira. Who is Barbira?  I guess she is a daughter of Santa Claus, for she always refers to him as  ' my sugar daddy '. It is said that Claus has some thirty foxy chicks like her.  What a happy guy he is ! Barbira says; " Thirty are too many ?  No, not at all.  You know, Claus used to have hundreds of millions of kids all over the world to give presents. Now he has ONLY thirty or so chicks to spoil. When he was in active service, kids had Christmas once a year. Now, for us whom he calls his treasured cuties, every day is Christmas all the year round. He gives us whatever we want. Our sugar daddy is really sweet. To get Rudolph was, however, quite a different story, because all the chicks of Claus wanted that world-famous red-nosed reindeer. Claus was greatly perplexed, and left the judgment to Rudolph. So chicks met Rudolph one by one to talk with him to win his favor. Some promised him good food, other assured not to drive him hard, still other told that he would not have to work at all if he was owned by her. But I knew Rudolph better than they did.  I sensed that he had especially submissive nature and that the best way to pamper him was not to allow him to pamper himself. So I promised him that I would rein him, whip him, ride on his back to drive him hard every day & every evening, if he choosed me as his mistress. I still remember clearly how his eyes brightened with joy when he heard those words. His red nose glittered with exitment. I was right. He was a reindeer who found pleasure in being reined and whipped. "
